Badabagh Community

PMI has chosen BADABAGH SLUM as it’s area of operation in 2013. This slum is located alongside of the Indian railway lines in North Delhi. It is a home for approximately 1000 circular migrant families who works in factory. Since 2013, PMI has been focusing on the education of the children’s and health of the whole community. PMI has selected many children’s who are enrolled under CHEP program to receive free educational support starting from nursery to college, regularly monitoring their health under vitamin project and creating various health awareness programs. Free medical camp is conducted every year for the whole community. It is our passion to work with University students and serve the community, to identify the areas of need in the communities and endeavors to practically meet them with not only immediate but long term impact.

Health Checkup

Catering to the medical needs of the disadvantaged Nandlal families, where facilities are hardly available is one of our areas of social involvement. To that effect, we, with a team of like-minded doctors, nurses and volunteers periodically conduct several free medical camps and provide basic medical aid.

Meet Prabin: direct, engaging, swift, fun, organized and hard working - the perfect guy to lead as PMI’s campus coordinator as well as he is working as a Manager of PMI. Prabin hails from the north east state of Manipur. Having a heart and passion to help university students, he plays a vital role on PMI’s team. An easy guy to get to know, he isn’t just an encouragement to students, but a point of connection between them and PMI.

Student life in Delhi can be very challenging and living in a city with a population of around 22 million can be troublesome. Professional counselors are here to assist you to become more effective and efficient in your studies and to help you deal with the various issues of life. Special academic counseling is available for class-x and class-xii students to help them with their career choices and career decision. We respect your privacy, feel free to contact us. Counseling is free of charge (by appointment).

Parent's Education

Parent education was started together with students of Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) for one year. Now the staff and coordinates are taking care of it. The program is formulated to help parents acquire and embody parenting skills and to learn about their children's cognitive, literacy and development growth. The program gives talks on sensitive subjects like Domestic Violence, Girl Child Education, Child Marriage, Birth Control, Mensuration, Hygiene and also deals with family-related problems- Financial, Unemployment and Alcohol Addiction. The program also emphasis Mothers at Home. We provide support so that they learn the skills they will need to find employment and ensure their children grow up well and manage the family's needs.
